Our Terms, Conditions & Commitment to youAt Morgans we are committed to providing a professional, personal and first class service, if at any time you have any queries,requests or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us. The Full Barbecue, Informal Feast and Simple Ocassion menus 1. Bookings and prices:A £200.00 non refundable deposit (unless otherwise agreed) is required to confirm/secure a booking, this commits us to you and visa-versa. Bookings will be confirmed on receipt of the deposit. A minimum charge of £500.00 is applicable to all Barbecues, unless otherwise agreed. At the conclusion of an event, any outstanding balance must be paid within 7 days of the date of the invoice. All cheques should be made payable to ‘MORGANS’. Receipts for payment will be issued on request. Minimum numbers: Where minimum numbers are quoted, please read as meaning: Minimum numbers at the full price applicable to that particular menu option. Final minimum numbers and menu options: Due to our food ordering procedures we require notification of final minimum numbers and menu options no later than 10am on the Monday preceding the Barbecue/function. Should you need to make a small increase to the final numbers after this time it will not normally be a problem, provided you notify us as soom as possible. Children: Children aged twelve and over will be charged at the full price. Children aged six to eleven will be charged at half the full price and those under six years of age will be free of charge (provided their numbers do not exceed six in total) 2. Times of arrival:This will depend on the location and the menu you have chosen. It is usually about one hour before you wish to eat which allows us adequate time to set up our equipment and prepare food for serving. Should you wish us to arrive earlier than we consider necessary, e.g. before the arrival of your guests, this can normally be arranged by prior agreement but may incur a surcharge. 3. Time of serving: (This applies to all our menus) We will endeavour to serve food punctually at the time indicated in the confirmation letter. However, due to the nature of the way we cook over lump-wood charcoal, there is always the need for a little flexibility. If a short delay should occur the Chef will keep you fully informed. For food safety reasons only the Chef will decide when the food is ready to be served. 4. Duration of serving and food availability: a. ‘The Full Barbecue’ menu: the only time constraints are those outlined at 3 above and those imposed by the Chef should he deem the food is no longer safe, fit or suitable for serving. b.‘The Informal Feast’ menu: In addition to 3 above, the main course will be available for up to 90 minutes from the commencement of serving. Any variation must be agreed by prior arrangement. c. ‘The Simple occasion’ menu: In addition to 3 above, food will be made available for 90 minutes from commencement of serving. Any change to this must be agreed by prior arrangement and may incur a small surcharge. 5. Provision of any food not supplied by Morgan’s: a. We fully appreciate that customers occasionally wish to supplement the menu with either their own dishes or those prepared by relatives or friends. This will not normally be a problem. However, because we have no control over the foods preparation, storage or condition we may require a disclaimer to be signed acknowledging that fact. b. Uncooked meat not supplied by Morgan’s: Under no circumstances will Morgan’s staff cook or reheat any meat dishes not directly supplied/provided by Morgans. c. Remaining Food: We are committed to providing only the freshest food; therefore any un-served food leftover after everyone has eaten once (except in the case of the simple occasion menu) will remain the property and under the control of Morgan’s and any additional/subsequent servings will be at the sole discretion of the Chef. d. Traceability and Food Safety: If, at the conclusion of the event you would like us to leave any remaining food with you for consumption at a later time this will not normally, subject to the Chef’s approval, be a problem. Although, we may require a disclaimer to be signed accepting that the food was handed over in good, safe condition and transferring responsibility for the food’s future safe handling, storage and use from us to the signatory. |
